What was your favorite position? CFO
How have you seen Liberty change over the years? Liberty has changed in virtually every aspect. With overseas product forcing the market down, Liberty had to completely re-strategize and re-organize to be competitive. This has meant a complete overhaul in every department.
What makes Liberty stand out from its competitors? Our team.
How do you balance your career and family? I work remotely the month of December in Florida and also try to go on a great family vacation every year. It is definitely a challenge though.
Tell us about your family. How many kids? How long have you been with your husband? I have been married 26 year and have 2 girls and 2 grandchildren.
If you could switch your job with anyone else within the company, whose job would you want? No one. I have worked really hard to get where I am at and I am very happy with my position. It allows me to be involved in every department of the company.
What three words would you use to describe Liberty? Family, Loyal, Hardworking
What has been your favorite project at Liberty? I enjoy working on ways to improve processes. Numbers dictate everything and I love generating reports and working with Troy and Mindy on ways to streamline processes or lower costs.
What is your proudest moment at Liberty? There have been many and I don’t have one that stands out. I get excited when we win bids and close big business but I love a good negotiation too.
How do you define success? Building a strong team and continually being willing and able to change and improve. You have to have vision and the creativity to turn the vision into reality.
Are you messy or organized? I would say a combo. My desk can get pretty messy but it is actually organized chaos.
If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be? Coke
Do you have a motto or personal mantra? Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust
What advice would you give to recent new hires? If you want to move up in this or any company you have to be willing to put in the extra work now. If you want to make more money than work like you are already there.
What do you do outside of work for fun? I love Disney, Camping, and traveling.
What is the first concert you attended? Wham
What is one thing you can’t live without? My husband and maybe Disney
What is your hidden talent? I am a great story teller and write poetry.
What is your favorite food? Pizza
